Here's what they are this week...

It would apear that, once again, 640 Toronto has tweaked the format.
GONE is "640 Toronto"
replaced with "AM 640 Toronto radio"

2-4pm week days is now Alder online, a corus radio network program.

Mike Stafford settles into his new time slot 4-7pm week days.
News announcers, respectfully will continue to say "640 Toronto"...as far as I know.

***Also note, Gord Harris is the new PD, and I wish him all the best.

640 was the best in its HOG days......really miss the station...if anyone has any airchecks of the HOG...would like to hear them.

Would it be better if they change their names to "NEWSRADIO 640 CFMJ", Instead of AM 640 Toronto Radio, Or "Your information station AM 640 CFMJ" Since CFRB already took the name News/Talk 1010 CFRB they cannot be News/Talk 640 CFMJ.

They should have just kept calling it 640 Toronto. Going with "Don't just know Toronto's news...talk about it."...or does CFRB already own that too?

---->also, while they're at it, why not just call it Talk 640 again?
The difference between their current format...and the old Talk 640 is a mystery to me.
When the hockey season starts up again, they'll DEFINANTLY sound like "Toronto's talk...and home of the Maple leafs" as they were when the station was Talk 640, but respectfully, perhaps with a few more local Toronto talk shows.

---------
They have changed names way too many times, and are now in an identity crisis. I still hear the station regularly referred to as Mojo Radio, as well as 640 Toronto.

He will be missed at CFPL Radio in London.
