Here's your bumper music for the Christine O'Donnell segment...

Good interview Holland. I can't believe the GOP /Tea Party hasn't thrown Christine O'Donnell under the bus. What are they thinking?

There was song back in the 60's (don't believe it sold very well), called "They're Coming to Take Me Away, haha (to the funny farm)" I forget the artist. That should be her theme song.

Maybe she has it right on issues that matter to people, regardless of her eccentricities be they real or perceived. A few people who are considered goofy are going to win, just because they are not the beautiful people and people can relate to them.

It's long been said in a lot of thinking-type circles that just because someone says something doesn't make it true, and doesn't mean they aren't exaggerating, and doesn't even mean they understand or have researched the topic they are discussing at all.

Sometimes it feels as if we're all b-school profs, and the media err our students had all semester to work on their final project. But they spent the time getting hammered, dreaming of Utopia, and looking down their nose at the uneducated, and even on people who'd gone to college before them. Then the last night before it was due, they all colluded and came up with basically the same final project, and expected us to accept them without question. And every semester, the same thing happens.

Maybe now it's their senior year in our little broadcasting school, and this has happened semester after semester, and those of us profs who have figured it out are now looking around, arms crossed, foots a-tappin', waiting for the light bulbs to go off in the heads of the other profs who keep hoping the students' past performance has just been some kind of illusion.

I'm with Mike, and she's definitely not me.

The artist was Napoleon XIV (real name: Jerry Samuels). The song topped out at #3 in 1966 despite being banned by many radio stations.

The B-side was !aaaH-aH ,yawA eM ekaT oT gnimoC er'yehT, recorded by Noelopan VIX - the same song, but played backwards. ;D

Thanks KeithE4. I didn't realize it did that well on the charts. I remember the B side, and yes it did sound strange.
