I wonder how WPBS promoted its switch from 107.7 to 98.9, if at all. Same for WSNJ. And for WEEU, when it moved from 850 (its freq. when I attended what is now Kutztown U. in the early 80s) back to 830.

I could never understand the logic behind the FCC ever dropping that rule. I mean, "KCBS" says "San Francisco" more than it does "Los Angeles". JMO.

The original WMAQ at 670, WAIT at 820, WCFL at 1000, WJJD at 1160 are all different today.
