Heritage of 93.1

Only way I could see this happening is if a non-com tried it with a volunteer staff. There are stations that while commercial are all but labor of love volunteer operations. With Voice Tracking, the legends who miss the past & want to see it live on could voice track a week's worth of shows for maybe $100--maybe even from home studios. A little bit of non-com underwriting from the throngs of disenfranchised listeners who want the Buzzard back & it's all done.

the only way a WNAP could work today ,in my opinion,is if it is done like WFMU in new jersey.totally listener supported .

if that happened i would hope the announcers are not voicetracked.that would have a negative effect if not a total stop on what A WNAP should be as far as spontaneity.

we would`t necessarily need the legends.WFMU as far as i know has people who volunteer to do 3 hours a week for free.a good new staff like that would work.if they are good they will become favorites in no time.

having said that i can`t see that happening.
