Roanoke VA radio legend Herm Reavis has passed away at the age of 92. He first became known on WRIS in 1953 and was an early rocker with the "Squirm with Herm" show. He eventually moved to competitor WSLC / WSLQ, and rose to become sales manager and then general manager. He also helped to bring the first rodeo to Salem in 1969. Herm was inducted to the Virginia Communications Hall of Fame in 2011.
