Herman Cain Named One of Top 25 Local Limbaughs

Newsmax Magazine, whatever that is, has named WSB's Herman Cain as one of the top 25 non-syndicated local talk hosts. The magazine refers to those honored as "Local Limbaughs."

Each host was given an ideology rating to indicate where the host falls on the liberal-to-conservative scale, with liberal #1 and conservative #10. Cain is rated at #3. I'm not sure how they concluded that because I don't think that's correct.

The writer and person who selected the top 25 is John Mainelli, who has been a talk station (WABC) PD and newspaper columnist in New York.
 
Which all poses the big philosophical question: If you are curently a local talker on a radio station and this survey dubs you a "local Limbaugh"... do you take that as an honor... or as an insult.
 
Newsmax is an Ultra Conservative website and magazine. Their misdeeds include:

I presume, if I thought of myself as a pompous blubbering gasbag, it would be an honor.
 
Obviously, whoever gave Cain the recognition has never listened to his program. Sounds like a heaping helping of PR to me, like 99% of those "scientific studies" we have to sift through every week.
