"He's Hot, He's Sexy.. AND He's Dead" what da?? (on kluv)

Okay, I'm still struggling with this from 3 hours ago. A jock (male jock) on KLUV (not naming names here) intro's the Doors by saying this-

He's hot, he's sexy and he's dead... Jim Morrison on KLUV

Scratching my head on this one.

Thoughts?

The only problem I see here is that someone in radio was being truthful. I'm sure he'll be fired soon..

Yea - I hadn't really considered the implications of the hot N sexy part, only the seemingly weird construct and congruence that led to how the break was constructed.

Made me stare at the radio face plate for a while.

But ya know what's coming next? Sweepers! Recently they evolved to the 'Hits of the 60's - 70's and now the 80's too.'

In the future they will say "Now with the hits of the 60's/70's/80's and now the most dead artists too." I guess for an oldies station they will always be one up on the hyper current stations.

Kickin off 10 in a row... the greatest hits from the most deceased artists are assembled right here ... 98.7!

This is not a new on-air quote relative to JM...I think it is being over thought. Most would not give it a second thought...just a silly comment from a DJ...next

Don't they all just read liner cards now? ::)

I'm sure debt dodgers around the world would embrace that...
