Hey Comcast, Wake Up!!

"THIS TV" appears on my Comcast Channel menu, but when I punch it up, I still get Estrella-TV. "THIS TV" is carried on WPIX's 11.3 NOT 11.2 It looks like Comcast takes the feed OTA. I called Comcast and the person I spoke to had NO CLUE as to what I was talking about. Nor could they tell me if Comcast HD was 720 or 1080. They didn't know what that was either. For this (no pun intended) you give these people lots of money every month. New name..same old crap. All that these customer dis-service people are good for is asking if you want HBO or Saturday nights PPV boxing match.
 
These people are so dense! I called Comcast, presented myself as someone who is employed in the broadcast industry and explained the issue to the customer service person. She hung up. I called a second time and insisted on speaking to someone in engineering...I was put thru to "cable operations". The woman to whom I spoke listened patiently as I explained the issue and what I felt was the possible cause. She said "You're the only complaint we've had. Are you sure it's not your cable box?" Finally she took my name and phone number and said someone would be in touch. Needless to say..that was Monday. So far, no call and Comcast is still running Estrella where they should be running THIS-TV. So now I'm really annoyed. Is there a "next" level?
 
yea comcast sucks you call to change stuff on your account like to cancel something they charge you double they suck!!
 
I sent a detailed e-mail to Mr. Roberts. They say he's quite hands-on. We'll see. Comcast should hire me to go in and kick some asses.
 
Remember, folks, they don't want to be known as Comcast anymore, in this regard - they're "Xfinity" now... (And with all of the complaints, I can see why they want to make such a move...)

They are still Comcast here. I see Xfinity when I visit the webpage and watch out of town baseball games. (Go Rays!)

Comcast has very different levels of phones. It's possible to speak to people who technically know things, but most don't know much when you first call (initial call taker).

What they tell you today and changes tomorrow, may not be their fault.

Things change very quickly in the industry, they have to be ready to change with the technology and, more importantly, the politics - internal, locally, and in Washington, D.C.

Politics Trumps Everything. Not a conspiracy - just reality.
