Just because someone doesn't like "The Stews," doesn't mean you have to come on here and throw out the race card. Not everyone is going to like their show and that doesn't mean that they are racist because of that. I have listened to that show more closely and each time I do it sounds more and more like college radio with a hip hop urban flavor. Lets be honest and admit that the show sucks and no I am not a racist for saying so.

What?? Have you guys been reading the same posts I have???? Whenever anyone says something about the Stews, it is said in a sterotypical tone or it has to be said using faux slang or street talk, as if that is what the Stews are or do....it's as if you guys (and you know who you are) equate the Stews with some shuffling and jivin' guys here to entertain "Boss" instead of the positive hip sports guys that they are.....if you guys could talk about the show and discuss the negatives of the show without the underlying sarcastic tones, then that's cool with me...

Umm "salvo" is a pretty strong word and one that don't be fittin the Two Live Stews. A scud missile should take out that salvo pretty quickly. Boo-Yah!

They suck, they have zero talent and when they move to their new time they will start to die, then move to another part of the country since they are most popular on satellite anyway.

That is the most pathetic thing I have ever heard, you must be a sad little man to think that something like that was racist. I will digress from further comment as in may get me in actual trouble. If you don't like the Stews, fine. Change the dial. Going on and on about how they suck, etc. isn't going to change the fact that their show is very popular and doing well for 790. If you can't relate to the hip-hop lingo of the Stews and just don't get it, fine. Everything in life isn't going to cater to your tastes. Heaven forbid there would be at least one show on the air that takes on sports talk from an "hip-hop" or "urban" perspective. It's only ONE SHOW, but you'd think those gosh darn hip-hopping Blacks have taken over 790 or Atlanta sportstalk radio in general. Uh-oh, there goes the neighborhood.

Some of you are accusing Destiny's Kid of "playing the race card", but who were the first people to bring race into it, by saying the only reason the Stews were popular was because they're Black? As if you could just throw a couple of Black guys together to do a sports show, and Black folks will just eat it up. Ryan & Doug aren't perfect by any means, but their show just works. It's not going to last forever, but for now they are doing well. If you think it sucks, cool. It doesn't make you a racist to think they suck anymore than it makes me a racist to think Jim Rome sucks. But if you don't want the "race card" played, then don't bring up race in the first place, and don't toss out thinly veiled racial cheap shots and not expect to be called on it.
