Do you guys need help with your v/t - ing? I know you were excited about your "big launch"... and I feel bad for seeing it drown like a kitten in a bathtub. I've got some numbers of people you could call.

Sorry it didnt work out so well! :)
Edited by 1of3names on 06/28/05 12:31 AM.

I'm assuming your talking about the 'big launch' of the new night guy for PFM(A voicetracked jock at Kiss in New Orleans) which they pumped up all weekend long by saying 'listen at seven pm monday for a radio revolution.'

come seven o'clock monday, 5 minutes of dead air followed by music with 30 seconds of dead air between songs.....i guess the "radio revolution" message is 'dead air sells the station'....i never knew people enjoyed listening to nothing soooo much!

i think that should go down as one of the biggest blunders in radio history...where's the engineer when u need one?

Ah...replaced by a contract guy due to budget cuts??
Fixing the toilet or changing light bulbs or half a
dozen other demeaning unrelated to engineering tasks?
Got smart and got a computer IT job and left radio?
Shall I continue?

It probably wasn't a technical problem in the first place.
But if it was, and an engineer was at hand, we wouldn't be
discussing it on this board. :)

In all honesty Panama City radio sucks... no talk station doing anything locally in the last 10 years. And the music is different, only you 3 stations doing the same thing in each format.
