Teach me something.

92.7 FM in Louisville. WFHS and WXBH both broadcast on there. Do they take turns going on the air, or are they both on the air at the same time but heard in different parts of the city?

Might be a dumb question.

I can answer that fern creek gets it everyday except weekends till 4 and then the brick house gets it like 3 days i believe from 4 on and all day on weekends. I go there for there weekly pot luck lunch on sundays. They are just not very organized and there studio if you can call it that is a computer at a desk and i think they have an old mixer whas radio gave them in the back. If anyone wants to check them at there sunday thing it is at 1101 second street at second and st catherine the brick house on sundays from 1-4.

Its free food free so thats a reason to go!!!

HOT P you are the man! I just tuned in at 4 and Fern Creek ended there last song, played there ID, and a couple of seconds of there next song started until WXBH hit there ID. Now WXBH's Dave Swinger show is on the air. Thanks for the info man!

PS, when you go to a pot luck, you're supposed to bring a dish LOL!

Yeah HotP answered it better than I could have. I was only vaguely familiar with this arrangement. What he said sounds exactly like what I heard.

I usually buy the generic chips and go to the pot luck. John the station manager usually makes chili. The people involved with wxbh lets see how shall we say this kinda hippeish woodstockish not john he is a computer person kinda odd dude but cool.He is like 60 or so. The brick house has a hard enough time paying its bills without the radio station so i am surprised wxbh is able to stay on the air.

I wish it were more organized or i would get involved but it just does not seem it is. John told me they really don't have the man power to expand the station right now. As rick dees always said when he did the morning show on kiss 102.7 in la he said "i want to thank all seven listeners" well for all we know seven listeners is what wxbh has if that many i wonder if the ferncreekers stay tuned for WXBH?

I like the fern creek high school station not bad. Plays some stuff louisville radio won't touch. I use to really like the highschoolers at 88.1 WNASA but in the past few years it seems there playlist has become alot of classic rock. :( Not as good as it use to be. But they did turn me on to me first and the gimme gimme's who do punk covers of show tunes like from annie the sun will come out tomorrow and they also do a punk cover of r kelly i believe i can fly. WNAS also turned me onto nightswimming by R.E.M. which i had never heard before. But like i said i do not enjoy WNAS as much as i use to. I do remember hereing in the summer of 2005 john belski was on WNAS broadcasting with his daughter who was a senior there that year and of course mr belski loved playing the classic rock.

But radiohawkins a few years ago in los angeles i went to a catholic church for mass and later on they said they were having a picnic me being the smart no food in my apt actor i was went to it got some free food so whatever works in the world lol
