Hey Houston: We’re #5!

It's bad enough that Texas is taking jobs and people away from California, but now the downfall of San Francisco to both Dallas and Houston in the PPM world.

Texas is taking over!

Is San Diego still #19? I keep expecting it fall out of the top 20 one of these days.

Yet the AI boom is mostly happening in San Francisco. Whether that lasts is another question. And the participants in that boom probably aren't listening to radio.

I'm wondering if the day will come when the St. Louis market size falls below Kansas City.

With STL losing population, and KC gaining, I can see how the two shall eventually meet up one of these days.
 
STL is not losing population among Persons 6+ in the Nielsen radio metro.... you're comparing census data, which is Persons 0+ among the full Census area (generally larger than the radio metro).
Trending Nielsen's 6+ estimates over the past six years:
STL: 2,342,200 to 2,372,400
KC: 1,777,000 to 1,892,900

KC may overtake STL someday, but at this rate, it will be many years, if not decades, in the future.
