105.9 JACK-FM is a good station ,they are the best with 80'S MODERN ROCK and with a mix of CLASSIC ROCK and ALTERNATIVE ROCK. The BLAZE is better at 80'S METAL and 90's HARD ROCK. JACK-FM doen't play the same artist every artist every 2 hours. With JACK-FM mix of rock they are the closes to TRIPLE A format in the valley.They do remine me of the original KKDJ.

How about this going from Frank Sanatra's New york New York to Funky cold Mendena ,All I got to say THE BLAZE is better ,so what if I'm comparing JACK with the BLAZE.Peak should make it a true TRIPLE A like 104.5 KFOG in SF.

105.9 Jack Fm does play rap music....ie Tone Loc', MC Hammer, Run DMC...just stuff like that. if want to compare Jack to the Blaze go ahead, if Jack is Classic rock or not, Jack still overpowers the Blaze, unless Lotis likes losing money (though there jox get paid peanuts) they just won't last. Peak Broadcasting just has too many resources. That being said I'd like to know the genuis who hired Nicole...how long was she even on that low power TV station....ch. 59 right?

I'll give 105.9 JACK-FM credit for one thing and that is 80s New Wave,the are the best station (the only station) for that music.JACK ,THE FOX and THE BLAZE do play alot of the same CLASSIC ROCK it's just THE BLAZE leans harder on 80s and 90s which also compares to KFRR and KRZR as far as 90s and early 00s.Also JACK will play some mainsteam rock that is ignored by all of the above.

and let's be honest with eachother, we are 'radio people" so we all know 105.1 the blaze doesn't even count yet, it's less than a year old and no one is listening to 95.7the fox or KRZR anymore, this Nicole mistake that 105.9 is making will only help the other stations

Why do you repeat your music so often,It seems you play some of the same songs everyday,Mellisa Etheradge is a good example,and when are you going to stop playing worn out groups like Smashmouth,Suger Ray,Sublime, who ever does mombo# 5 ,Even Hot AC stations stopped playing them ,It seems your playlist hasn't changed sinse you went on the air.THE BLAZE has only appear in one WHOLE rating period .there going to catch up to you and I don't think you ever over come the FOX either.The only way to to do that you would have to totally revise your playlist.Like I mention in a Earlier post ,one thing you have is the Modern and mainstream rock of the 80s that not on THE BLAZE and THE FOX.

I agree with Ken for the most part, but Fresno stations aren't given a chance to "catch up"....musically the blaze is great, but unless they have money to burn, like KOKO 94's Art Laboe, they just won't last. and i also agree with radio ears....Nicole may actually give the blaze a chance, someone on another post said Tom Jordan at Peak's KSKS was out, that's not true, BTW

I just listen to JACK for 30 minutes and they just played the same songs Iheard at work 12 hours ago ,this is insane ,can't they find more music to play.The BLAZE has the same problem ,I like AC/DC ,Areosmith, and Van Halen ,but even they are getting to repeatative, same songs by THE SAME ARTIST EVERY SINGLE DAY, why cant somebody do REAL CLASSIC AOR. THE BONE 107.7 and KFOG 104.5 in SF have more ORIGINALITY ,I don't even want to get started with the FOX the king for REPEATS EVERYDAY.

That is an album that will live on forever as a classic...too many hits to name on one record.
