Can you tell me if KIOX, 96.1, Edna-El Campo, is permanently on the air yet? If so, how is their programming, their audio, and their coverage (geographically speaking).

There not permanently on the air yet The last time they were on was I think 2 weeks ago playing all George Strait country.
 
Some one who has been involved with 96.1 Kiox told a freind of mine that it will start broadcasting full time by march 1. They had to buy a new transmitter and get it put in. He said when they tested the signal it sounded real strong in Wharton county and Edna. Did not know about Victoria. He says the still have not decided on the music maybe Texas music or oldies rock.
 
Sounds good I wonder how it will reach into Southern Lavaca county? The last time they were on it came in pretty decent. I wonder what will happen to 104.7 and 94.1 that was dark forever now?
