Your poll is messed up....There is no "No" option under the question "Should Shirley Ja be the host of 'Under the Boardwalk' on New Jersey 101.5?"

There was that option for the other two this week! Someone trying to slide the votes in her favor by not giving a choice for No?

I noticed that myself, actually that started yesterday. When Elyse Wolf had her spot on Monday, there was a Yes/No voting option for her. Last night for that Andrea girl, it was only "yes", same thing for Shirley Ja tonight.

The whole thing is screwed up. Why are listeners FORCED to vote FOR or AGAINST someone BEFORE all 4 finalists have done their one night show?? Someone hears Elyse Wolf on Monday night and if they want to vote for her they have to do it before 3pm the next day?? How can you expect people to vote for someone BEFORE they hear all the contestants? Lets say someone listened to Elyse Wolf on Monday night and they thought she was great. They have to go and vote for her because they know that they CAN'T vote for her AFTER they hear any of the other contestants. So Wednesday roles around and this person decides that Shirley Ja is BETTER. They obviously can't take their vote for Elyse back.

Its ridiculous. The concept itself, this "dream job search" has worked out alright, but this voting thing is a complete mess. At least TRY to make it look like a legitimate competition, jeez.

Good Job pointing this out bro...the screen shot is a nice touch also. LOL.
Edited by JoeFromTomsRiver on 03/16/06 03:44 AM.

Whether there's a NO option given makes no difference. A vote for no is the same as not voting for yes. The yes votes are the only ones that matter. The next poll could give the options of YES or YELLOW...it still wouldn't matter.

In fact, none of it matters anyway because the results are hardly scientific and management will be hiring who they want, regardless of who gets the most votes (yes, no, or yellow).

The winner will be ..... None of the above.

None of the above is:

(a) A friend of the program director.
(b) A client of the station's consultant.
(c) A brokered or pay to play program.
(d) All of the above.
