Some possible ratings distortion here, maybe?

Wired amazes me. For as creative as they claim to be, I'm pretty sure this spiel is plagarized from somewhere. I don't remember exactly where (Something wants to say ESPN 1050's site in NYC) but this entire P1 explanation is from somewhere else, word-for-word, with "Chio" replacing the personalities on said station.

I know radio is all about "parallel thinking", but at LEAST take the fracking time to re-write the copy. AWFUL.

EDIT: So, so, so, so, so f'n busted.

Here's a thought... when you're cutting and pasting someone else's material, it may help to remove the F'N TYPOS.

Just like Chio's show recyled

Anyone remember when 96.5 The Point decided to attempt to re-incarnate the old Y100 with the Barsky morning show? Same thing with Chio and Q102.

How long did Barsky last again? Man those Beasleys!

This P1 thing is all too funny. You combine that with the assclown incident, Chio saying the Q102 phone numbers and Morning Coffee Runner Justice's act here and you get a sense that Wired has some real problems.

Ironically enough, this P1 explanation is from San Diego. Maybe it came back to Philly after a week as well?

I thought maybe they had stolen it from a co-owned station but NO. It was from Clear Channel's Rock 105.3 in San Diego.

Wait a second... A Beasley station plagiarized something word-for-word from a Clear Channel Web site? Just how illegal is that?!

Wexler, I swear you must have a death wish ;).

I wouldn't say ILLEGAL since it doesn't seem to be copyrighted. It just smacks of laziness, a lack of creativity, and a lack of ethics.

You're a brand new show, trying to build a brand, in a Top Ten Market.

SOUND LIKE IT OR GO HOME.

This station S-ck ! Its time to name this station " Fired 96.5 " .
______________
America most awful Hip Hop station list , KS107.5 Denver , KLUC Las Vegas , and Wired in Philly .

Tired? Mired?

Nah, it's just how some describe his show; it appeals to the Pee-1's and the Poo-2's.

Mmmm...condescending.

That little snippet from their web site just smacks of the way a third grade teacher would address her students. "You know, I really like to have a class full of good little boys and girls. Do you know what good little boys and girls do? Well, they always raise their hands, for one, and they always say 'please' and 'thank you...'" Man, reading something like that makes me want to never listen to Wired again. I don't appreciate when people talk down to me.

And from perusing the other posts on this thread, it seems that other stations have used this exact same "explanation." Yuk. So I guess that's indicative of what the entire industry thinks about its listeners. Figures.

Wait? You don't like Wired 96.5? LOL
