Heywood's heyday at 620 over

Just heard Bill Heywood resigned from Saturday mornings at KTAR. Michael Dixon to fill in... Was Heywood hoping for a weekday shift, but Pat beat him out? Was he hoping to be paired with Heidi again? (Kidding about the second option, but serious about the first.) Saturday morning host position not "meaty." Basically, it's throwing to weather, news, etc.

More likely he didnt want to bother with the 3am wake-up call now that his realty career has taken off.......only sells 3-4 houses a month, but when the homes sell for 2 million and his comission is 10%...he can afford to not do radio .-30-

NaNaNaNa..HeyHeyHeywood..ByeBye

There was NO WAY KT'R would bring Heywood back to AMD for the 39th time and he realized it. McMahon is biding time until The Men In Secret Underwear figure out the gameplan for KT'R-FM. Gerald may continue on the AM, but it would be suicide to put Toaster Talk on FM.Nurse Jeff and I picked up on KT'R's new voiceover guy doing event specific "late breaking news" promos on Saturday. While an earthquake on the other side of the world really doesn't warrant a specific promo over the weekend, it gives you an idea of what KT'R can do on moment's notice. Memo to Chickboss: these guys aint gonna be as easy to roll over as the Emmis Braintrust

Come on, Toaster Talk is fun! I have this lamp, I think it has a loose wire, but I desperately need someone on KTAR to tell me what to do next, I mean, its a great lamp, and I know there are millions of radio listeners in Phoenix who would love to hear my lamp woes on the radio every day. :D
