I know some of you folks are rather new to shortwave, which although not as busy as it once was, still offers up some interesting stuff.
If you have the single side band (SSB) function, you can catch some aviation chatter right now. At this time New York ATC (along with the aircraft they are in contact with) can be heard on 8906 kHz, while Santa Maria (Azores) ATC can be heard on 5598.
