Is anyone familiar with this unit? What dc voltage does the external power supply need to be for operation?

Thanks

First let's assume I don't know what I'm doing but the wall-wart that is attached to mine measured around 21 vac and 55 vdc on a digital volt meter. But there's a big ol' 100V 470uf capacitor one of the power supply jack leads connects to. I'm guessing it needs AC. You're more than welcome to shoot my knowledge of electronics down (I'm an audio guy).

Mine's been in pretty much continuous use since the early 80's. Nice silk screened signal diagram on the cover but no info as to what the power requirements are. And the wall-wart, which I know is original, has no markings on it whatsoever, save for a sticker that says 115V.

It's built like a tank too.

I have one sitting right in front of me, ser. num 2627. The wall wart that came with it (model 630/3) says "50VDC 75ma" on it. Center = positive.

Yes, it IS built like a tank!

Kind Regards,
David
