Before you all freak out about some new user I am not.......it is mburg.....I have had to change my screenname for some reason because the system is not reconizing my password for some reason....just dont worry.....I am still going to be the same old person as I was so you not losing mburg.......Now I have a burning question to ask everyone:What happen to Laura Carlson at WEJZ??? She is gone as I have discovered....did she leave to go elsewhere or did Renda show her the door??? Well later.
 
I guess many of us had no alternative but to change our user name. I'm still John and still a Radio Fan ..LOL or I should I try a smiley... ;D. Anyway, Lara's departure is a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure Heather White would do a yomans job with Arthur if that becomes the plan. Heather seemed to keep her ego in check all those years with Dave Scott and that would be refreshing to hear and I think it would be a good add. Time will tell.
 
I couldn't post as Brian V. anymore - so now I'm Brian White (in honor of my lovely wife).I hate these new forums...and the changeover was obviously sort of clunky since our old names don't work right.But anyway...the story I've heard about Lara was that she was getting married and wanted to get out of the radio biz FAST. Apparently it was quite a surprise. :)Brian V.
 
mburg - I found the Gator cardboard on the sign picture. how can i get it to you. It is classic/ radio at it best. Tibbs, aka Tibbs2...still the same after all the mess.
 
Lara was crazy to ditch her career for a man! She'll be divorced in 2 years, and w/o a job. By then everyone will have forgotten about her and she'll be on the streets. Poor thing!I'm all for Heather hooking up w/Arthur.....
 
It would be really sad if her new husband does not like radio, and wanted her to retire from it. From my past in the local pro wrestling biz, I can't count the number of wives and girlfriends that have talked their men into retirement.But anyway, let's hope she had a backup plan, and didn't just blindly quit out of love.I knew something was up when I briefly turned on Delilah and this came on the RDS:ALWAYSAGREATSONGWITHARTHURCROFTONMORNINGS...Let's petition to make Jim permanent co-host. He's been with Arthur long enough. Why not?Or maybe Arthur can team up with Kyle Stevens and do a Huntley/Brinkley thing.
 
Arthur needs a woman, sitting at his side to keep him straight.... How 'bout Heather????? AND LARA DID QUIT BECAUSE HER NEW HUSBAND DOEN'ST LIKE THE RADIO INDUSTRY!
 
why just why would she quit her job and go to another station if she'll be out of work for several months because of the non-compete clause if she signed one?!!!!!
