I am Fred from Carver, MA. I have been a listener to AM and FM since I got my first radio at 8. At 44 now, I listened to AM just as much as FM my whole life. When the music on FM started to become boring in the early 2000's after big media companies took over many great independent stations, I focused more on AM. I often listened to talk shows since age 8. Local and national. I listened also to Oldies 103.3 WODS, and Star 93.7 WQSX until they changed formats. For the last few years to now, there are two FM stations I listen to, Easy 99.1 WPLM and 97.3 WJFD. I always liked 60's to current music since I was young. The Portuguese programming and music on WJFD sounds unique and different. And on AM it's 630 WPRO, 1030 WBZ, and Talk 1200 WXKS. In the early 2010s I also started listening to Sirius XM through free or discounted subscriptions for the variety of sports coverage, Patriot 125, and Radio Classics 148.
