"HI-FI CLUB" back for three hours Sunday night 1/6

We're back live again for three hours again Sunday night! This week, it's a tribute to Elvis for his 73rd birthday, with lots of biographical info, music and even Elvis's interactions with DFW. We're scheduled to have Pat Priest (the 'normal' blonde "Marilyn" from "The Munsters") with us to talk about starring alongside Elvis in 1967's "Easy Come, Easy Go."

And the usual stuff as well...historical tidbits on music, news and local radio, plus some long-lost oldies. Tune in Sunday night 6PM-9PM on KMNY-1360AM in DFW, or log on to www.thehificlub.net to access the live stream. And thanks very much for all the comments and encouragement, folks...the show will improve with age, so please stick it out with us while we get back in the groove!! ;D

Excellent! Thanks for the heads-up.

I'm not even much of an Elvis fan, but maybe I will be after tomorrow's show.

How were you able to contact Pat Priest? I'm still upset that she wasn't used in the Munsters movie.

i never can get KMNY at night.... :-\

Sorry about that...they power down to a whopping 980 watts after sundown...so if you've got anything faster than a dial-up connection, use the live streaming. There's a link at www.thehificlub.net.

Thanks to all for the kind words! I don't think we had the same level of energy and interaction going as last week, but we're still getting into the groove again and getting used to sharing the airtime...not too easy with 4 guys that each have a lot to say! Pat Priest was just wonderful...hope you guys didn't mind it running for so long, but she had a lot to talk about!

Good, interesting show. Enjoyed the interview. Internet stream still sounds overdriven and distorted though... if they would just back off the audio a a bit.
