High Plains Radio Network files for Bankruptcy Protection

From Radio Insight:
I'm somewhat holding my breath, here in ETX. KLVQ in Athens has been off for some time now, however, both AM & FM are going strong in Palestine, as is KCKL Malakoff and KWRD Henderson. Hopefully, they can emerge from the bankruptcy streamlined, focused, and shed of the anchors currently pulling the company down.

Not familiar with their panhandle or out of state clusters, but the E-Tex Radio Group they provide here is very slick and professional. The shift to classic country on KYYK has really brought back the legacy sound of the Palestine FM. The AM is actually talked about again, with the adult hits playlist in place.
