high school radio stations

Hey. Do you know of any high school radio stations operating in Georgia? My school is considering starting one, or at least looking into what we need to start one. We want coverage of our local sports. No luck from the Savannah stations...actually, someone from Cumulus Savannah told me their FM stations were for music...if I wanted to air sports, I should check with their sister AM stations.

Go figure.

Our AM 1290 WTKS used to broadcast Benedictine football games.

"KISS BLITZ" - We go out to 3 high school football games every week and report the score, throw out free stuff, etc. Plus our night jock will put scores on the air.

As for getting your own signal, there aren't any left in Savannah. You can always try webcasting.<P ID="signature">______________

There used to be one associated with Brunswick High School's Booster Club, WBHS 106.7

It will be hard to get on a FM, but your best bet is come up with the sponsors and offer the buy time from an AM. GOOD LUCK!

JUst thought about it you might could do a LPFM, im not sure on how you would get it though

Sorry, there are currently no high schools in Georgia with their own radio station.

How about trying http://www.gaprep.com?
Lovett and Marist out of the Atlanta area may not have a flagship terrestrial radio station broadcasting their games, but that doesn't stop them from using the internet.
