Highway Vibe 99.7FM VS 104.3 MYFM

Can see this type of format working on 104.3 KBIG FM Los Angeles. The station now plays Hot AC, pop, and EDM (Electronic Dance Music). LA stations only play EDM music during mixshows which sucks. We need something exciting on the radio dial. Listen to highway vibe at www.highwayradio.com/lv ;D

KBIG use to have a similar format like the Highway Vibe years ago. Hot AC with a Rhythmic lean. It was great run unfortunately it didnt pay the bills at Clear Channel. Gone in the history books.

I do miss that station but the KBIG didn't play current dance music. But I do miss boogie nights and thump radio. Those were the good old days of that station. It sucks its a cookie cutter station now.

KBIG is around to fill the Hot AC/Adult CHR vacuum left by KIIS shifting towards hip hop leaning CHR in the mid 2000s and KYSR's flip to alternative. It serves the purpose of Clear Channel's "wall of women" in Los Angeles. Any switch back to Rhythmic AC/Hot AC and you'll hurt the mothership (KIIS) while also leaving a hole (Hot AC) for someone to swoop in (Bonneville comes to mind since they have a highly successful Hot AC in Chicago already).
