Hilo, Hawaii airchecks

I finally got them on CD from my trip March 6-9, 2006. I apologize because my digital audio recorder (RadioYourWay) seems to stop recording when I'm not looking so I had to press record again so I really had to watch it like a stove. It's going to have skipped moments and I do apologize. All are approximately 80 minutes each: I tried to record as many as I could within that short time frame, I arrived at the Naniloa mid afternoon on Monday, out by midday Thursday. I wanted to record one at the airport departing but not enough time. But the more the merrier.

94.7 KWXX (Hawaiian) Mon 3/6/06 9:04 PM
100.3 KAPA (Hawaiian) Mon 3/6/06 11:12 PM
92.7 KHWI (AC) Tue 3/7/06 9:36 AM
107.7 KKOA (Country) Tue 3/7/06 4:03 PM (ABC satellite)
105.3 KBGX (Oldies) Tue 3/7/06 5:26 PM (ABC satellite)
97.9 KKBG (Hot AC) Tue 3/7/06 9:08 PM (Waitt satellite)
100.3 KAPA (Hawaiian) Tue 3/7/06 10:31 PM
95.9 KPVS (CHR-Rhythmic) Wed 3/8/06 12:01 AM
92.7 KHWI (AC) Wed 3/8/06 7:23 AM
97.1 KNWB (Classic Hits) Wed 3/8/06 3:25 PM
94.7 KWXX (Hawaiian) Wed 3/8/06 8:40 PM
97.1 KNWB (Classic Hits) Wed 3/8/06 10:13 PM
95.9 KPVS (CHR-Rhythmic) Thu 3/9/06 12:01 AM

KHWI is jockless 24/7 and is Hot AC leaning.

I enjoyed my first aircheck trip and overall the vacation was great!

I want to go to Kona next year. I'll basically get the same stations as most of the commercial stations can be heard on that side of the Big Island too. It will be a 1 for 2 swap as I will get Hot AC KWYI but no KHWI and KNWB.

Aloha
Randall
