Hilton Head: SC 103 changes course, cancels move

I read in Lance Venta's column yesterday that WVSC 103.1 Parris Island is rescinding her move to join Apex sister WLHH 104.9 on an existing tower at the south end of St. Helena’s Island and boost power to C2 50k, like 104.9 has already done. I find this “lack of” move curious, as I was under the impression that Apex wanted to solidify their market share in HHI/Beaufort (and basically shun Savannah). That 11k C3 signal really sucks. Anyone have any insight as to why Apex changed course?
