I was going through the dial today here in Charleston and 1130 had a bunch of white noise. They are stunting beach sounds. There's no more ESPN Radio on that frequency. I wonder what the new format will be. Talk, standards, oldies, or a surprise?
The cat's out of the proverbial bag. It looks like the new format is standards but with an AC lean. It looks like they want to take on WSEG-AM (Star 1400) but then again the positioner shows they're aiming for the Hilton Head audience.
Great symmetry in WHHW. I like it. The carefully aimed format sounds interesting; we'll just have to see how they pull it off and how the audience responds to the effort.
