CBS Radio has drop the " inspirational" talk format on WPGC-AM 1580 and has replaced it with a simulcast of WPGC 95.5 ( It's sister station ).
 
I think it's a temporary move. CBS is "planning something new" on 1580 around Halloween and they're keeping it secret.

I noticed that this weekend when I was in Northern Virginia. The AM side sounded horrible, BTW.
 
I can pick up the AM side down here in Central/eastern North Carolina during the day and night and noticed the simulcast today...yes it does sound bad.....I thought it might have been a rebirth of "Flava 1580"
