Why doesn't HJJ get rid of Howie Barte and replace him with Matt Allen? It then could be conservative, both sides, then liberal. Because Howie is so far to the left its hard to listen to him not criticize anything thats conservative. He's in love with the ACLU and that should be a sign right there. It's like listening to someone who can't get his thoughts together. How many times can someone say, "Uh, Um, Uh" in one sentence. It's brutal!
 
Did you ever think Matt Allen just wouldn't want to go to WHJJ?He may not want to stay at WPRO indefinitely but may have his sights set elsewhere rather than a station that hires talk show hosts from other walks of life rather than those with radio backgrounds.
 
Matty has always said that he wouldn't leave WPRO. Says he loves it
there and won't go anywhere. BUT, WHO KNOWS. you can NEVER say NEVER.

Have to say though,, Matty and Dan make a helluva pair. I love the 6 oclock hr. where they banter back & forth.

WHJJ isn't good enough for Matty. SO THERE!!!
 
Well, HJJ won't get rid of Howie as long as Jim Corwin is running that place. He defers to Ahh-lene. Howie is Ahh-lene's lapdog. The PD Bill George is a nice guy but powerless. It is quite amazing that such deference is given to a washed up never-was who couldn't hit a 1 share in the late summer trends...also she was beaten by WSAR in some demos as well.

Helen Glover is the only thing worth listening to on that station. (And Michael Savage, too...)

They need to blow the whole thing up (prefereably with Barte and Violet in the building at the time) and start again from scratch.

They did start from scratch (TWICE remember the now BANKRUPT Air America and a year ago Howie and Helen)

Would Matt ever leave his master Dan Yorke?
What I'm noticing in Matt more and more is how he parrots Yorke on most every issue.
The Station fire case being the most recent and vivid example.
Except for the change in voice the viewpoint is the same which is quite odd considering the highly charged emotion and different layers of conflict in that case.
Matt needs to start standing up on his own two feet.
