Hiring...

Before we go posting in all the trades and get people from all over...

Cool 100 continues to grow, after recently adding several sales positions we're on the man(women)hunt again, this time we're looking for one or two people to increase our local staff and give us more voices for on-air and production... if anyone knows of a guy or gal that is looking for a full or part-time position, pass the word...

We'd really like someone local or regional with some versatility, that can work some air shifts, remotes/appearances, read copy well, that has some production or imaging background or at least is computer literate and willing to learn production. Equinox is an EOE and women & minorities are encouraged to apply.

Anyone can send inquiries, resumes or mp3 to me (Justin Case)... my e-mail is [email protected]

or snail mail it to...

This is good news! Always good to hear about job opportunities around here. I'm curious as to how the late-night guy/PSA director gets to handle the hiring though? I know Shimes is busy...

I think I can answer that! We are all busy, which is why we're trying to find some people to join us. As many of the duties will be assisting and working with me, I was asked to help in finding interested candidates.

As for me personally, I do three daily shifts... WPHD Afternoons, WMTT Evenings and WCDW Nights (til Midnight)... as well as being the cluster's Promotions Director. Though PSA's cross my desk weekly, it's slighty different than PSA Director, in that I'm responsible for coordinating events (remotes/contests/stops), liner talk points, and jock scheduling.

No disrespect intended, and you certainly worded your explanation well. I just was curious as to whether you received a bump up the ladder that put you in charge of HR duties as well.

Lord knows we all wear a ton of hats in this market!
