If a Hispanic station in the United States has a sizeable number of Anglophone listeners, will that station be able to get the same advertising revenue that it would get if those Anglophone listeners were Hispanics ?

Very good question. Unfortunately, as for your first assertion, the number of Anglo listeners to a Hispanic format tends to be less than one half of one percent. It is so insignificant, that agencies will not even bother.

As for the second half of your question, Anglo formatted radio tends to include those Hispanic listening numbers in the mix as a part of the cume, so the point is moot. I would also add that Hispanic stations listener per listener tend to get the short side of the cash from agencies who tend not to pay as much as Anglo stations. There is a lack of parity for Hispanic TV stations as well.
