History Channel shows on Lifetime

So two popular shows over on The History Channel are airing reruns on Lifetime I just noticed today by flipping channels. Those two shows are "Pawn Stars" and "American Pickers".

Those two shows don't fit on Lifetime they are popular History Channel shows. Whats next Ice Road Truckers airs on Lifetime in reruns.

One thing I wonder is what does Pawn Stars and Pickers have to do with Lifetime? I generally associate Lifetime as being a women's network, especially with the whiny made-for-TV movies. I regularly watch Pawn Stars and, on occasion, Pickers -- none of them have anything that would scream out femininity.

Could be worse -- Lifetime could air Top Gear and A&E's Billy the Exterminator in the future.

I liked those shows when they first came on History, same thing for ABC's "Modern Family" but now
..................I don't care if I skip them and find something better.

I don't think "American Pickers" is too far out there for lifetime. It probably draws alot of female interest.

I also noticed gangland airing on spike. Altough to tell you the truth, i'm not sure if thats a spike show, that sometimes airs on history, or a history show that sometimes airs on spike.

NFL Network is going to be airing a new version of "American Pickers" - starring Peyton Manning. ;D

But should these shows be airing on Lifetime? Doesn't matter if they are all owned under the same roof. These shows have history in them from the type of items being sold and brought. What happen to orignal Lifetime programing or a Lifetime movie or they wanna leave the movies to LMN.

This is like telling Disney Channel we will be airing a College Basketball Game from ESPN. Using this as an example as both networks are owned by Disney. Maybe this is a little pushing it.

Or, along the same token, "Phineas and Ferb" or "Hanna Montana" airing on ESPN Classic, for the same reason.

Or what Lifetime could also do--bring back all the health programming geared toward medical professionals that they used to air all day every Sunday from at least the late '80s through about 1993. Just my 2 cents. :D :D

Tonight (12/13), History has aired two episodes of A&E's "Storage Wars" at 10:30PM ET, following "Pawn Stars".

Never mind that Storage Wars was originally slated to be on History, until they decided to pass it on to A&E.
