History of Howard Stern - ACT II - Some classic clips

Listening to the history of stern act II on xm this morning and there are some great classic NYC clips. It starts when he is fired from WNBC and goes through the early K Rock years. They should really sell these as for radio geeks like us, is pretty cool to listen to. I guess you can't get this on FREE radio.
 
Yes, this is one of those things that you'd never hear on old style radio. And one of the reasons why Sirius/XM is growing. I heard part one and it was far better than I thought. In fact I never wanted to listen to it in the first place, but it was addictive. Well produced with lots of great comments and reflections by the crew. Reminds me of radio in the old days that wasn't limited by commercials every few minutes and could delve into things in a way that today's terrestrial radio can't and wouldn't know how to. I can't wait to hear part two.
 
Wow!!! I heard a portion of the History of Stern today. Absolutely incredible radio. One of the best produced radio pieces ever. More inside the lines and behind the scenes than you'd ever hear and more interviews and comments from some of the biggest and best from radio and TV talking candidly. Amazing! If you haven't heard this you MUST MUST listen. It starts with the firing from WNBC and the years at K-rock. Truly an event that any radio fan should NOT miss.
 
I hope they do more on Susan Bezerkowitz, and they don't skip the deep Meg Griffin parts either. That stuff was really tense and hilarious.

I hope they repeat Part One (WRNW to WNBC) for the XM audience.
