KEN R now offering the 1981 version - in stereo - which covers the years 1955-1980. And it is now available to radio stations, Internet stations and even private collectors for the first time in over 20 years!

It’s 36 hours, with each hour on its own CD. You can own part of it, or the entire “rockumentary.”

If the quality of these is as good as his jingle packages were, these should sound great. I am soooo buying the set with my income tax refund six months from now.

Does anyone out there know where I can get the 1969 version, narrated by "Humble" Harve Miller?

I looked at the web site.

Seems to be very little pre-Beatles.

Some history!

HORR found in a.b.rock-n-roll

If you have a decent news server you can find the original 52 chapter HORR in the usenet group 'alt.binaries.rock-n-roll'. At the moment just a few chapters are available but it's usually reposted a couple of times during the year.

What is a news server, and does one get to this HoRR thing?

I'm a novice at news servers.
