This is a long shot...but...you might go to a search engine and enter "Drake Chenault" (two words) and see what you come up with.

Bill Drake hosted the show which was produced in 1977 and features 52 chapters or "hours" (52 minutes of show in each chapter).

It's been frequently posted on the internet in a newsgroup called alt.binaries.rock-n-roll. With some patience you can probably download all 52 chapters if you have a good Usenet server with decent file retention. I personally use GigaNews (www.giganews.com).

If you don't know anything about Usenet or newsgroups spend a few minutes with http://www.giganews.com/faq.html.

Interesting. There was a version of "The History of Rock and Roll" released in 1969 and it was updated every year for 6 years. I believe it too was a Drake Chenault production. I think it was entitled "The Golden Years".

Drake Chenault doesn't exist anymore AFAIK. Syndication rights are held by Jones out of Denver. It was originally produced in the mid 70's and updated in 1981 or so.

Hour 52, the timesweep, is great piece of production.
