History on 99.7 WHTK

Of course, WNOK Columbia, thats the other station I was thinking of. But anyway, as for whtk in Myrtle, it would blast in on any Car Radio, even up in North Myrtle Beach, but everytime I tried to listen on an analog Boombox I would pick up 99.9 B-100 in Wilmington instead. That was also a pretty good station, but it died around the same time as WHTK and went Country, I think its a Rhythmic AC or Jammin Oldies now. 95 SX always did put a pretty good signal into Myrtle, but not near as easy to get now as it was in the 80s and early 90s. 96.9 in ChuckTown comes in good in Myrtle, so does B-92.5
