I never visited the Quonset Inn -- but I'm curious to know if this was an actual Quonset hut.
Not to change the subject (although we could start a new thread) but there seems to be an Upstate NY thing about using Quonset huts for radio stations. WBRV in Boonville, the WKRT/WIII transmitter building in Cortland, the former WNTQ (aka WFBL-FM and WDDS) transmitter building and the WAQX transmitter building come to mind -- and I believe WAER's studio also occupied such a prefab. Any others you can think of?
