Are the employees of this station happy or do they want to leave? Here they have a good production person and some veteran sales peple.

Don't know any of the employees but I like the morning show with Bob and Lesley. At least they sound like they're having fun.

Yo... I know for a fact that some key people have lefe or forced out. Too bad Hitz can't seem to keep good employees. What a great set up for a station to do well in the Triad. Understand that more defections might be on the horizon so stand by.....

;D

Some VERY talented folks there. I know most all of 'em personally. Most choose not to discuss morale (in this case a wise move).

When you think of it, are the employees of anybody other than maybe Dick happy? Does working for Clear Channel not automatically cause depression? And what a laugh fest it must be working for Entercom right now.

Happy is one thing. Do they have anything to sell is another. The station sounds good but no one seems to know about it.

The station does sound great. I don't think I've ever seen a billboard for it.

Would this be the same kinda "great" one would use, say, at the funeral home when you tell the widow "gee, he looks great!"

No, it would be the great as in, music on target, high energy personalities having fun, lots of contesting, big sounding Hot AC. Numbers suck, but I'd guess that's a marketing problem, not a problem with the product. That and no signal in Alamance and east Guilford.

My question still has not been totally answered. Are the poeple there looking for a change. On air, sales, Production D, etc.? Are they good people?

Listen:
I guess you people can't hear IT. It's the sound of a freight train. The freight train that is about to plow through HITZ and bring some OLD peeps into the mix! Tower, Golf, UNC, Employees; WHATEVER, you peeps need to get a life. If someone around there would treat peeps with respect, have some morales, and actually show up for work, then you could make some JACKSONS on HITZ! Otherwise, sit back and watch your station turn into OLD peeps money! GOOD LUCK!
PS. Betcha cant wait for BB season cause you cant get ratings from f-ball
peace out!

I'm sorry????? Could you please explain? Widow? Not my husband?? What does it mean and what does it have to do with Hitz94?

So, we're at the funeral home? Do you mean the radio station is dead or what?

I'll quickly give credit where it's due- the staff there work miracles in almost every department given the circumstances. I have nothing but praise for most every one of them.

But really... let's be realistic. A little time spent listening makes the station's shortcomings painfully obvious. A signal deficiency in Burlington, and\or lack of TV or a few boards isn't gonna land a -properly executed- pop music FM an 18th place finish. I'd give a month's pay just to see what a competent GM, some real music research and a qualified programming consultant could do with this. I say this with great respect for the station's owners and most of the employees.

And your vast programming experience includes...? Your vast on air experience includes...? Your vast consulting experience includes...?
As a 20 year programmer, if I had a quarter for every engineer who had a clue about programming...I'd need a quarter.
