I just checked and this is the largest responded-to thread since the WFMX flip. Just shows to go ya! Hitz94, er Majic is a wunnerful place to be. ;)
 
I worked fairly closely with the staff at the Lexington station and like them all. Announcers. News. Sales. Production. Traffic. They collectively have hundreds of years of radio broadcasting experience - and remember the feel, sound and smell of audio tape on reel to reel. It's a professional shop. I applaud Gig Hilton and his staff for stepping to the plate to fill the Oldies void.
 
Thank God for digital audio editing. I was so tired of cutting my fingers with razor blades and Exacto knives!!! Tape sucked then and still does!

;D I hate to be negative but those "The New MAJIC 94.1" VOICERS are terrible..You can hear the breathing at the end so bad.. Who is that guy?? He must have TB Suck it up.. and listen to BIG APE as you should have years ago and make BiG APE MONEY!!!!
 
Magic 94.1s logo a direct ripoff of legendary oldies, and #1 rated in the U.S., WMJI/Cleveland.

Does this station have good jingles and imaging? Who's the VO talent??
 
The VO talent is ok... just doesn't fit the station. Nor does the quality of the imaging.

WTRG Raleigh was far superior in presentation. WTRG was better than Oldies 93... that station was horribly produced.
 
The VO's suck, You can hear breathing at the end...And it's very loose
 
I'm listening to the stream from Raleigh right now (okay, Cary), and it sounds fine.
