Hjy Tuesday into Wed

I work third shift and I noticed that Hjy played commercials from 12am to 4:30am.There was no music what so ever just commercial after commercial.

Sounds like a problem with the computer....

I dont think they sold that many spots for an overnight. If so so I want to know that sales person. ;D

WHJY's log on Yes.com lists songs played early Wednesday morning:

Unless they were picking up another station's signal... I recall when a suburban Philadelphia station on 107.5 FM dropped their rock music format and went religious talk... then songs from such artists like Luther Vandross showed on the log - turns out it was picking up the signal of urban WBLS, lol.

Well at least they can sell ads on one station in the cluster so they may as well count their blessings

hmmmm did the overnight jock forget something???? ::)

Yeah he forgot to voicetrack it

With NexGen, if you forget to merge the music log and don't have the clocks set to fill out an hour (should you be short by a few minutes), the only thing that would run would be commercials (if traffic loaded) and whatever's built into the clocks (promos, imaging, etc). They may not have the fill on (with Premuim Choice, perhaps) and someone forgot to load the music...who knows!?!
