Jim Prewitt Exits KLUV For ...
CBS RADIO Oldies KLUV (98.7 K-LUV)/DALLAS weekends/swing ace JIM PREWITT has exited the station to take a progamming gig at ... oh, we can't say yet. Rest assured, though, you'll be the first to know.

C'mon...let us in on the secret!! Must be a new oldies station; that's where Jim's programming skills would be best used. Wonder if it's the same place where Andy Barber's been interviewed?????

Anybody noticed that the Twister is on the verge of a change after their "One Last Blast"?? I heard this on a promo commercial that they're saying it "hard to say goodbye"

Perhaps the new oldies station can somehow manage stereo versions of some old songs - such as Mamas and Papas "I Saw Her Again" and Beach Boys "Fun Fun Fun". I have to give KLUV cudos, though. I heard something amazing the other day - a STEREO version of "Good Vibrations". I didn't think one existed except as part of the unreleased quadrilogy - that Brian Wilson was superstitious about.

I'll tune in, seeing anything is better than that disaster at the twister.

Twister may not be any good....but if they flip it, I'd look for someone to put a country station right back on somehwere. The Wolf is slipping and who knows how far they'll fall with Cumulus running the show now.

If I remember correctly, everyone was predicting the same thing this time last year.

Bruce,
As I've explained to you before (!)...on the stereo "I Saw Her Again", the vocals are out of phase in mono. The stereo "Fun Fun Fun" has the last 25 seconds or so, missing. But, I think I've found a stereo version which includes the whole song....stay tuned.
