...I've been out of the Memphis market for 5 1/2 years, but some things never change!

Andy -

Where did you wonder to after Ashville?

What ever happened to your X? She belongs within the never changing Memphis. It would be good for her health.

OMIGOD!
It's Andy from Andy and Debbie in the morning?!
Are you coming back, Andy?
Even though you're no longer married, maybe you and Deb can put all that aside and bring back the magic that was the "Andy and Debbie in the morning" show!
Whenever we get a real country competitor for KIX...that'd be a great way to start 'em off.
But I realize it's your turn again at Kix, too....you know..
Andy/Debbie-Young/Elder, Andy/Debbie-Young/Elder. Their turn has lasted a while this time.
It's due.

Ok Andy, you can't just drop in here without giving a status update.

You've always had a great voice and did some excellent work in Memphis. (Better solo though, I think.)

I recall many years ago seeing some old transmitter logs thrown out at WLVS that had your sig on them from (I think) 1977. I know you also worked at FM100 in addition to KIX, and I'd assume some others along the way.

So where are you now??

Actually, I think Andy did his best work between 1989 and 1992... Heh heh heh...

What's up, Andy? And yes, where are you now? Send a message to me down here in Birmingham--would love to hear what you're up to.

Greetings from God's country!

Wow - nice hearing from you guys!

I'm living in beautiful Asheville, NC for 5 1/2 yrs now. I've given myself a break from radio for the past year (one year on Spet. 9th, in fact), and have started a small business here.

I occassionally miss radio, but after getting up at 3am for 21 years, I'm enjoying staying up late and sleeping 'til 7 or 8 EVERY DAY!

I've decided that IF I ever get back in radio, it'll be News/Talk, and would have to be a situation where the management let me do my own thing....you know, shake up N/T a little with some fun! So in other words, it probably won't ever happen! : )

Seriously, I'm so burned out on Country that I have no desire to do it, talk about it, meet any of the new artists or anything. I'm ready to do something totally different and have FUN again.

Last I heard, Debbie was roaming the wild blue yonder from state (and station) to state (and station). Don't want to say too much for fear of a lawsuit!!! : )

Hey - thanks for the shouts, guys!

Last I heard, Debbie was down in Alabama and still looking for a radio job. She applied to be my co-host at a station in North Carolina, but it didn't work out. It's probably a good thing, too, because she probably wouldn't have been there long. I've been gone from there since August, and I'm still looking for a radio gig.
