Hmmmm, I missed this one!

I was wondering why CC still had those "See Ya....Soon" billboards up.
I just thought they were being lazy.

Sam and Michele had this planned out a long time ago. Kind of bizzare that they would put a show on half-assed, but hey that's the Clear Channel way. I wonder how Maria feels about being betrayed by two cohorts? They sure as hell didn't waste time pumping the hell out of the old windbag did they?

you are right. plus I got my own dirt:

the writing had been on the wall all summer. another Cheap Channel excuse to do "house cleaning" in October or November.
everybody knows Sam and Ken had this in the works. Sam had been taking promo pics and it wasn't for KTRH
R&R are paid until the end of the year.
Eric was not fired.

also, my earlier speculation about a former KRBE dj being a sidekick will happen at the first of next year.

hmm...can KISS 965 be in the works? or has Mix stabilized and now they are going after the 35 year old female demo?<P ID="signature">______________

They'll need a new Program Director first. One that knows how to program the station properly. Mix seems a little fixated on the buzz. I still can't believe I didn't see this coming. Jat, you were right. I just figured he was a tad too old to continue with a music format.

They need to take Scott Sparks over there too. Isn't he older than Sam? He's been at KRBE since '88. How much longer can he play to the younger demo before it starts getting creepy? I noticed he's trying to sound younger than he really is.

How about you losers get a life. Did you make a profit from your prediciton, or does it make your day to know that you are capable of being a VP of programming even though you are probably a parttime promotions kid.
