HO! HO! HO!

Yeah, WPHT is going to just give up the ghost and become The Big Gifter, 1210.

Since no one has brought it up yet, will B-101 have any all-Christmas music competition this year???
You mean besides satellite and the internet, where channels usually have at least slightly more than 100 burnt out songs in endless rotation? (Hell, my file player has more than twice the number of Xmas songs at any time than Bore-101. Not to mention the quality delta. And the Jingle Jingle doesn't start until I want it to - usually around December 18.)

WOGL's Phillies HD will most likely go Christmas at some point. As for other FM's... Mix? Doubtful. WJBR? Most likely. Anywhere else...? It's a wait-and-see.

IMHO, the best part of Christmas radio is Christmas eve/morning, when most stations are featuring some sort of holiday influence. Christmas through the genres is quite a trip.

WFPG will probably go if you are in the fringe tward Atlantic City.
WMGQ if you are in frindge of B101/CBS-FM up in centul Jersey. Also in that area, not sure if it'd be WLTW or WWFS. WLTW is my guess.
The Roze 101.3 if you are in the fringe tward Harisburg.
Hey covering them all, since JBR and WLEV were mentioned.

Mook, I agree. I believe WOGL will do it, and not on HD4.

And B101 will crush them in the ratings. The AC always win in head to head battles with Greatest Hits stations at Christmas.

Didn't we hear the predictions that WOGL would be all Christmas last year? Didn't happen.

It was on WOGL HD-2 last year. It will be back on the HD-2 again with WPHT on the HD-3 and who knows if they keep Phillies on the HD-4 in the off season. All Eagles? All Flyers?

B 101 has a "Christmas Music Preview" link on their website already. As usual, several department stores (and Lowes???) have their Christmas displays up. WJBR will most likely be the only other station besides B to flip to Christmas music this year. The question is how soon?

By the way, last weekend there were droves of people on the beach and in the ocean in Ocean City while the department stores were putting their Christmas displays out!

Maybe Columbus Day weekend is the new end of Summer weekend. I would have been down the shore if my six year old hadn't had her tonsils out on the 7th.

B 101 is also running Christmas music on their HD-2.
And then at some point the Christmas music will come over to the main channel and the regular music will go over to the HD-2 until midnight on Christmas night.
