Hockey on KING

I don't understand why some Kracken games air prime-time on KING. I would think KONG would be the better choice, as it doesn't displace NBC network shows. I get that it's probably a better audience for the hockey team; but I really like the "Law & Order" franchises better. Then again, not like NBC isn't pooching the whole audience as they moved "Organized Crime" to Peacock-Only.

Get off my lawn.

Tegna has a similar situation in Dallas with their two stations there -- ABC WFAA and independent KFAA -- and the NBA's Mavs. Pretty similar arrangement Tegna has there as they do in Seattle with KING-TV/KONG. Most Mavs games air on KFAA, like most Kraken games are on KONG. Some games air on WFAA...and lately when WFAA has a game, it runs the ABC shows in pattern on its .2 weather channel for those that want to watch the ABC shows live. WFAA also airs them overnight on the main .1 channel on a delayed basis for those that don't have WFAA 8.2 available on their cable or satellite service.
