Hogue done in Radio

Eric Hogue ended his 30 plus years in radio on Friday's last Capital Hour on 1380 KTKZ. Anyone hear the show?

I believe you are thinking of Bob Hogue?

Worked for a brief time with Eric out of the Salem cluster. I wasn't a fan of his political philosophy, but he was an overall good guy

Eric Hogue had his farewell show last Friday the 27th. He stated he wants to dedicate himself fulltime to really making a difference at his post at William Jessup University. (He was doing both for a while since giving up the morning show.)

His show was a great way of finding out what was happening in Sacramento when I first moved here. It's not all government. Alas, one less source of local talent.

If I had to make a guess, I would say his replacement just might be a former music jock who tried a talk show once.

"Listen tomorrow morning 7-9 and enjoy Phil Cowan!"

Funny.......

I've worked at KTKZ, and with Cowan at KSTE......and I never realized how much he sounds like Bill Bennett......
