"Holes on the FM band"

It's been awhile since I've been back to Tampa. Just curious...with all the repeaters and LPFM's...on a decent car radio, are there any gaps left on the FM dial? Years ago, the area between 101.5 and 102.5 was empty (and it was promptly filled by the Party Pirate on 102.1).

...there is a huge hole between 92.9 and 93.5 on the dial! It sucks you in and spits you out when you make fun of its morning show host.....Im sorry Sharp....I could help myself

Not really much space on the dial anymore. Specifically, the upgrades of 97.1, 98.3, and 98.7 really has cluttered that area. Also, upgrades at 105.5 and 106.5 have also affected the Tampa metro. Not many good spots left to run a solid LP without interfering with someone.

Hi guys...figured the dial was getting pretty cluttered. Butters...your post was good for a chuckle.

I thought for sure one of your twisted mothers would put a Nancy joke in here.
