holiday book question

so i guess now that the holiday season is over. When the next ratings book is released in febuary the AC stations ratings will drop massively and the rest of the other stations ratings will increase

Typically, yes, that is the nature of the beast. Stations that went all-Christmas will come back down to earth in the book next month.

Christmas music gets people who normally don’t listen to the radio to tune in. And it gets listeners to change the station from every other format.

First part not true. Second part very true.

The closer you get to Christmas the lower total radio listening goes. The Persons Using Radio declines, allowing the share for the Christmas music to increase. Of course, the decrease is not huge, but it indicates that stations doing Christmas music don't increase radio listening... just listening to those stations.
