When I saw the thread title I thought it was about Elaine losing the card
for a free sub and "submarine captain" (salute) status. Happy Festivus!
As for on-air subs, I've yet to hear NFVG doing voicetrack fill-in for
(what remains of) the airstaff at KOOL for two weeks or so.
As for the waning days of a "KEZ Christmas on 94.5 KOOL-FM," I had a
terrible nightmare last night about when they flip back to normal format--
the last holiday song being the 294th spin of Wonderful Christmastime,
followed by...Brown Eyed Girl. :

Kid is in for mac and gaydos this week. I truly feel that Kid deserves a place on talk radio in the valley and sure hope he lands on his feet soon, he sounds good on KTAR.
